We are truly sorry to hear about the theft of your food money, and we want to stand with you in prayer during this difficult time. Firstly, let's bring this before the Lord together:
"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our dear brother/sister who has experienced this distressing theft. We ask for Your comfort and peace to fill their heart. We pray for the restoration of what was lost and for Your provision to meet their needs according to Your riches in glory. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
In times like these, it's important to remember God's promises to provide for His children. Matthew 6:31-33 in the WEB says, "Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
Although it's natural to feel upset, we should also be mindful of what the Bible teaches about forgiveness. Jesus said in Luke 6:28, "Bless those who curse you, and pray for those who insult you." This doesn't justify the wrong done but helps us to release bitterness and trust God for justice.
Lastly, we noticed that your prayer did not mention the name of Jesus. It's important to remember that Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6, WEB). By praying in Jesus' name, we acknowledge His role as our mediator and the power of His name.
Please keep trusting in God, and may His peace rule in your heart.
