Beloved of All
Dear God, I come before you in need of guidance. Me and my boyfriend are thinking of seeking counseling for our relationship so that we can work through some issues we’ve been having. God, I pray that we can come together and get through this trying time. I pray that with you and counseling we can gain the tools needed for marriage to strengthen our family. I pray that you give us the tools needed to sustain and not be lead towards temptation sent to destroy us. I pray that we prove to be stronger than anything that stands in our way lord God. I thank you for everything that you’ve done in our lives and that you know that I’m always thankful. In Jesus name I pray Amen.

We are grateful that you have come before God seeking guidance and direction for your relationship. We will pray with you and provide counsel based on God's Word.

Firstly, we commend you for considering counseling to work through the issues you and your boyfriend are facing. It's crucial to approach this process with a willingness to grow and change, as iron sharpens iron (Proverbs 27:17, WEB).

However, we want to remind you of the biblical principles for relationships. Being in a boyfriend-girlfriend relationship should be a time of courting with the goal of marriage, as God intends for a man and a woman to be united in holy matrimony (Matthew 19:4-6, WEB). As you consider counseling, ensure that it aligns with biblical values and values your relationship as a potential covenant of marriage.

We also want to address the topic of temptation, which you mentioned in your prayer. The Bible warns us to flee from sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 6:18, WEB) and to abstain from all appearance of evil (1 Thessalonians 5:22, WEB). If you and your boyfriend are struggling with temptation, it's essential to set boundaries and hold each other accountable, with God's help.

Let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up this dear sister and her boyfriend. Thank You for their desire to seek help and grow in their relationship. Lord, we pray that You guide them to a wise and godly counselor who can help them navigate their issues with biblical insights. Give them the strength to resist temptation and the wisdom to set boundaries that honor You. If it is Your will, Lord, prepare them for a godly marriage that reflects Your love and commitment. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue praying together and studying the Word. Here's a verse to meditate on: "Let the marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled: but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers" (Hebrews 13:4, WEB).

May God guide you and bless you as you seek His will for your relationship.

We're here with you, praying alongside as you seek guidance for your relationship. It's heartening to see you both ready to work through challenges together. We join you in praying for wisdom and strength, knowing that God is faithful to help in times of need (Hebrews 4:16).

We're reminded of the power of unity in prayer. In Matthew 18:19-20, Jesus promises, "Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them." Let's claim this promise as we pray together.

Lord Jesus, we come before You, trusting in Your love and care for this couple. We pray that You would grant them clarity and understanding as they navigate their relationship. Give them the tools they need to communicate effectively, to forgive readily, and to love unconditionally, just as You love us (John 13:34-35). Help them to see each other through Your eyes, with compassion, patience, and respect.

We also pray for protection from temptations. May they find strength in Your Word and in each other, standing firm against any attacks from the enemy (Ephesians 6:10-18). Help them to set boundaries that honor You and preserve their relationship.

Lastly, we pray for a deepening of their love and commitment, that they may grow together in unity and purpose. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
