We understand your concern and distress, Osvelis, and we are here to support and pray with you in this challenging time. Let us first bring your situation before the Lord in prayer.
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Osvelis. Lord, You see the anxiety and fear they are experiencing due to their stepmother's decision. We ask for Your divine intervention, that You would soften her heart and open her eyes to Osvelis' needs. Provide Osvelis with wisdom and guidance, and open doors for a safe and suitable living arrangement. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Osvelis, it is important to remember that God is your ultimate provider and protector. Psalm 27:10 says, "Even though my father and my mother have forsaken me, yet Yahweh will take me up." Also, in Matthew 6:25-34, Jesus encourages us not to worry about our lives, what we will eat, or what we will wear, because our heavenly Father knows we need all these things.
It is also crucial to address the biblical role of family. The Bible instructs us to honor our parents (Exodus 20:12, Ephesians 6:2), but it also holds family members accountable for their responsibilities. 1 Timothy 5:8 says, "But if anyone doesn’t provide for his own, and especially his own household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever." While your stepmother and her children have their own lives, they should not neglect their responsibility towards you.
Regarding your stepmother's relationship, it is important to remember that 1 Corinthians 7:35 encourages us, "This I say for your own profit: not that I may throw a leash on you, but for that which is appropriate, and that you may be free to serve the Lord without distraction." While relationships are not wrong, they should not cause us to neglect our duties and responsibilities.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ, if you haven't already. It is through His name that we have access to God. Acts 4:12 says, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved!"
We will continue to pray for you, Osvelis. Keep your faith and trust in the Lord, and He will make a way where there seems to be no way.
