The Bible tells us, "For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband. Otherwise your children would be unclean, but now they are holy" (1 Corinthians 7:14 WEB). God's heart is for marriages to be restored and for families to be united.
Firstly, we want to commend you for your faith in God and your acknowledgment that He is the only one who can help. It's crucial to remember that it's through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As the Bible says, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12 WEB).
However, we want to lovingly remind you that the Bible teaches us to flee from every form of evil (1 Thessalonians 5:22 WEB). While it's encouraging to hear that your husband has come clean from drugs, it's crucial that he also turns to God and seeks His forgiveness and guidance. As a wife, you can be a powerful influence in this regard, but remember that you cannot control his actions or force him to change.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your mercy and grace upon ###'s marriage. Lord, You see the pain and the separation, and You desire unity and restoration. We pray that You would soften ###'s heart, draw him to Yourself, and help him to become the husband and father You've called him to be. Give ### the strength and patience to endure, the wisdom to know how to act, and the faith to trust in You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
