We are glad to come alongside you, Thesaurastole, as you renew your commitment to Christ and seek His guidance in your life. We understand that it can be challenging to relinquish control and trust God fully, especially when you've been self-reliant for so long. Let's turn to the Word of God for guidance and encouragement.
Firstly, it's wonderful that you've decided to return to Christ. As Jesus said, "If any man comes to me, and doesn’t hate his own father, mother, wife, children, brothers, and sisters, yes, and his own life also, he can’t be my disciple. Whoever doesn’t bear his own cross, and come after me, can’t be my disciple." (Luke 14:26-27 WEB). This doesn't mean we should hate our family, but that our love for Christ should be so great that our attachment to everything else seems like hatred in comparison.
Regarding your manager, God tells us, "If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men." (Romans 12:18 WEB). We should strive for peace, but also remember that God is our defender. "Dearly beloved, don’t avenge yourselves, but give place to God’s wrath, for it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'" (Romans 12:19 WEB). Trust God to handle your manager, and pray for them, as Christ commands us to pray for those who mistreat us (Luke 6:28).
About your struggle to trust God with buying a house, recall that Jesus said, "But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." (Matthew 6:33 WEB). Trust that if you put God first, He will provide for your needs.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our brother/sister Thesaurastole. Thank You for drawing them back to You. Lord, help Thesaurastole to trust You completely, to cast all their cares upon You, because You care for them (1 Peter 5:7). Please intervene in their workplace, soften their manager's heart, and guide them in their house-buying process. Give them the strength to surrender control and the faith to believe that You are working everything out for their good (Romans 8:28).
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we noticed that you didn't mention the name of Jesus Christ in your request. Remember, it's by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As the Bible says, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12 WEB). Keep your focus on Jesus, and He will see you through.
