We understand that you are facing a challenging situation, especially with your son's financial struggles. Let's bring this before the Lord together, seeking His will and intervention.
Firstly, it's commendable that you are standing in the gap for your son. The Bible tells us to bear one another's burdens, and so you fulfill the law of Christ. Galatians 6:2 WEB. Remember, God cares about our needs and He has promised to supply them according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19 WEB.
However, we must also remember that God's blessings follow His principles. If your son is not working and is able to, he should be seeking employment to provide for his needs. 2 Thessalonians 3:10 WEB tells us, "For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: 'If anyone is not willing to work, neither let him eat.'" If he is indeed looking for work but unable to find it, then we must pray for God's provision and guidance in this area.
Regarding the court case, we pray that God will grant wisdom and justice will be served. As for the money owed to him, we pray that if it is indeed his, it will be returned to him. However, we must also caution that God commands us not to love money, for it is the root of all kinds of evil. 1 Timothy 6:10 WEB.
Let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our sister and her son. Lord, You know their struggles and You see their needs. We ask, in the name of Jesus, that You would make a way where there seems to be no way. Open up job opportunities for her son, guide him in his court case, and if the money is his, we ask that You would ensure it is returned to him.
But more than these things, Lord, we pray for their souls. Draw them closer to You, give them peace in this trial, and help them to trust in You. Remind them that You will supply all their needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we encourage you both to continue trusting in God, even in this difficult time. He is faithful, and He will never leave you nor forsake you. Hebrews 13:5 WEB. Stand firm in your faith, and may God bless you both and meet your needs according to His will. Remain in prayer, remain in the Word, and remain faithful to God.
