Help with ### custody

Please God help me navigate my way through this trying time. My babies Dad is abusive and I feel would not be a good role model or good input in my babies life. I fear interactions from his family and I live in angst. Please help me understand my feelings and anxieties. Please send solutions to my problem or guidance. Help me enjoy my baby and give him all the love and kindness I can without the anxiety of his Dad and his family fighting for custody/contact. Please God, I need closure. I love my son so much and just want to protect him. I really want his Dad to leave us alone but to know for certain that he is going to leave us alone. My heart aches and I am not at peace. My baby deserves to have his Mum feeling strong and stable—not fearing the grey cloud that is always lurking. Thank you God for sending me my new partner who is so supportive, wholesome and good. I pray this continues to be a healthy relationship for my baby to grow with. Please God, help me regarding my babies biological Dad. Please help me find peace so that I can raise my beautiful baby boy as the best and healthiest Mum I can be. I’m sorry I’m not a good Christian, I hope you know I believe you are the higher power and have blessed me and others in the past. I beg you to help me once more. Please God. Amen

We must first address that we noticed you mentioned a new partner. While we are thankful for the support you're receiving, we must encourage you to seek God's will in this relationship. If you are not married, we pray that this relationship is a godly courtship with the intention of marriage, as God designed sexual intimacy and cohabitation for the sanctity of marriage. "Flee sexual immorality! Every other sin that a man may commit is outside the body, but whoever commits sexual immorality sins against his own body." (1 Corinthians 6:18 WEB)

Now, let's bring your concerns about your child's custody and protection before the Lord.

*Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up ### and her son. Lord, You know the anxiety and fear she is feeling due to the threatening presence of her child's abusive father and his family. Please comfort her heart and calm her fears, for Your word assures us, "Don't be anxious for anything, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God." (Philippians 4:6 WEB)*

*Father, we ask for Your divine intervention in this custody battle. Guide ### through this process, and give her wisdom and discernment. Surround her with godly counsel and support. Lord, we know that You are a God of justice and a Father to the fatherless. Protect her child and grant ### the peace and closure she desperately needs. (Psalm 68:5 WEB)*

*Lord Jesus, we also pray for ###'s new relationship. If it is Your will for them to be together, guide them towards a godly marriage and away from any temptation. Help them to be a positive influence on her child, and let their relationship be a reflection of Your love. (Ephesians 5:25 WEB)*

Finally, ###, we encourage you to continue seeking God and developing your relationship with Him. Trust in Him to guide you through this trying time, and rest assured that He loves you and your son dearly.
