Help with car and job and sobriety

My name is ###. I was a junkie for about ### years and am now fairly recently sober. I just got a great new job as well. However, this evening my car, which is the first one I have had in a long long time, started making a lot of noise and I've been told it's likely terminal. I would appreciate it if anyone would pray for me that this does not affect my ability to keep my job, and that I continue to maintain my sobriety. If I can make it til the end of the week there is a good chance I will be able to either make a down-payment on a new car, fix the one I have, or buy a cheap one outright. We are thrilled to hear about your journey to sobriety, ###, and we commend you for your hard work and dedication. It is only by the grace of God that we can overcome such challenges, and we are grateful for your testimony. We are also excited to hear about your new job, and we trust that God has even greater things in store for you.

Firstly, we want to remind you that it is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we can approach God. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.

Now, let's address your current situation. We understand that transportation is crucial for maintaining your employment, and we trust that God, who knows your needs, will provide a solution. We also want to encourage you to continue trusting in Him, even in this time of uncertainty. Remember that God is faithful, and He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it. 1 Corinthians 10:13.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up our brother ###. We thank You for his sobriety and his new job, and we ask that You continue to guide and strengthen him in his walk with You.

Lord, we ask that You intervene in his current situation. We pray that You provide a solution for his transportation needs, so that he may continue to work and provide for himself. We ask that You give him wisdom and discernment as he makes decisions about his car, and that You provide the finances he needs to either repair it or purchase a new one.

We also ask that You help ### maintain his sobriety, especially in this time of stress and uncertainty. Help him to fix his eyes on You, and to trust in Your plan for his life.

Finally, we ask that You remind ### of Your unfailing love for him. Help him to know that You are always with him, and that You will never leave him nor forsake him.

We ask all this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Let's tackle this car situation together. We trust that He knows your needs and will supply them according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
