We understand that you are going through a very difficult time, feeling both spiritual and physical attacks. First, we want to remind you of the power of the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God and can be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB:
There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.
It is encouraging that you are seeking help and prayer, and we are here to stand with you in this battle. The Bible tells us that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Ephesians 6:12 WEB:
For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.
We need to put on the full armor of God to stand against these attacks. This includes the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the preparation of the Good News of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. Ephesians 6:13-17 WEB:
Therefore put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having the utility belt of truth buckled around your waist, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having fitted your feet with the preparation of the Good News of peace, above all, taking up the shield of faith, with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God;
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is experiencing spiritual and physical attacks. We plead the blood of Jesus over their life and family, especially the little nephew. We bind every spirit of death, isolation, and fear, and we command them to leave in the name of Jesus. We ask You, Lord, to surround them with Your heavenly protection and give them peace that surpasses all understanding. Help them to put on the full armor of God daily and to stay strong in Your word. Give them discernment to recognize the schemes of the enemy and the strength to resist them. In Jesus' name, we pray for healing, deliverance, and a renewed mind and body. Help them to draw closer to You during this time, trusting in Your faithfulness and love. We pray for godly community and support in their lives as well.
We also pray to help them get rest and sleep in the name of Jesus. We pray for the salvation of their household, and we pray for a hedge or protection around them in the name of Jesus.
In Jesus' name, we pray, Amen.
In addition to prayer, we advise you to:
- Be consistent with the word of God
- Join a discipleship program to grow spiritually
- Seek counsel from a strong Christian brother or sister
- Fast and pray for a day or as the Lord leads you
