We understand that you are facing a range of health challenges and are seeking healing and restoration. First, we want to remind you that God cares deeply about every aspect of your life, including your physical health.
Let's turn to God's Word for comfort and guidance. In Matthew 11:28-30 WEB, Jesus says, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
Bringing all your cares to Jesus is the right way to go. He is there for you the entire time. If you are close to God you should be at ease and confident that he will take care of you, therefore you should be able to sleep.
Pause for a moment and realize what is causing the epidemic of insomnia with many people in the world. Christians need to recognize what is going on around them and not be swayed by the culture to forget about the momentous achievements that have been accomplished by Christ Jesus. If we do this the cares of the world will not have a chance to rise in comparison to our natural needs. Jesus achieved this by being able to sleep in the middle of a huge storm while on a boat.
Remember what Jesus said in Matthew 8:26 WEB, He said to them, Why are you fearful, O you of little faith? Then he got up, rebuked the wind and the sea, and there was a great calm.
Now let's address healing. In James 5:14-15 WEB, we read, Is any man sick among you? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick. The Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.. Your faith in Jesus' blood to heal you is essential, but remember that healing also comes through the prayers of the elders and the faith of the community. The forgiveness of sins is also a significant part of healing.
God wants you to be well and whole so that you can serve Him fully. His goal is get rid of the sin in your life. Then to do God’s will. This is only able to be achieved as a Christian. Recognize what Jesus had to go through on the cross. This unforgivable sin that he had to pay was in the mind of God when he created it in the first place. Jesus hung on the cross for ages and for every sin that was in the past and every sin in the future. The penalty of our sin was a momentous debt that had to be paid and Jesus Christ came to pay it. We were slaves to our old selfish desires and Christ came to purchase freedom for us by giving his life.
Peter said in Acts 4:12 WEB, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!.
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother in his time of need. We pray for his healing, knowing that You are the Great Physician. Touch his body, Lord, and restore his health. Heal his hair loss, improve his vision and hearing, reverse diabetes and arthritis, and take away all pain. We ask this not only to do your will as a loving Father but also to acknowledge the miracle of his forgiven sins on the cross.
Help him and strengthen him by your Holy Spirit. Help him to have faith that his soul can be at ease with the cross of Christ in a culture that is opposed to it and on constant display. Give him rest and peace, knowing that You are in control of every situation. May this miraculous healing happen to bring glory to Your name so that others may see it and want to trust in your Son.
In Jesus Christ name will pray.
Amen.
Please consider meeting with a pastor and Elder at your local church for further prayer and anointing with oil. The Christian community is a wealth of encouragement, support, and help for going through this together. Press on, our dear friend, and trust in the Lord. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving by presenting your requests to God and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
