Thank you for reaching out with your concern for these stray cats. It's commendable that you're caring for them and seeking God's will in this situation. Firstly, we notice that Jesus is not mentioned in this request. The Bible says that we have been given access to God only in Jesus Name. We are told; "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." I Timothy 2:5 WEB. We are also told in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, wherein we must be saved." Jesus is the name and salvation is through faith in Him. The Bible says, "If you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart man believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation." Romans 10:9-10 WEB. Surely, God cares about all His creation, including these cats.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, seeking Your will and guidance for these stray cats and the situation our friend is facing. Thank You, Lord, for placing in her heart a compassion for these animals.
Father, we pray for Your guidance regarding the potential adopter. Give our friend a spirit of discernment and peace in deciding whether to entrust the cat to this person's care. If it is Your will, Lord, let the new owner be someone who will love and care for the cat as You would intend.
We also pray for the other stray cats. Father, provide for their needs and bring people into their lives who will show them kindness and love. Ultimately, we pray that You would raise up permanent homes for these cats, where they can experience the love and care they deserve.
In all things, Lord, we seek Your will and Your glory. Help us to remember that You care for even the smallest sparrow, and that Your love extends to all Your creation.
We ask all of these things in Jesus name. Amen.
Regarding the adopter, consider this wisdom from the Bible: "Be wise as serpents, and harmless as doves." Matthew 10:16 WEB. It's important to discern if the potential adopter has good intentions and the ability to provide a loving home. Ask the Lord for a spirit of wisdom and discernment.
Trust in the Lord's timing and provision. Remember that God cares for even the smallest creatures. Jesus said, "Aren’t two sparrows sold for an assarion coin? Not one of them falls on the ground apart from your Father’s will, but the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Therefore don’t be afraid. You are of more value than many sparrows." Matthew 10:29-31 WEB.
Lastly, continue to show kindness and love to these cats, trusting that God sees your good works and will honor them in His time. "Whoever is righteous has regard for the life of his animal, but even the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel." Proverbs 12:10 WEB.
