Let's lift up Genesis for strength against temptation and steadfast faith. "Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7). Trusting God's guidance and protection. In Jesus' Name!
We understand your struggle with negativity, dear friend, and we are here to lift you up in prayer and remind you of God's truth. Firstly, we notice that you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer. It is by His name that we are saved and have access to God, as the scriptures tell us, "In no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12 WEB). Let us pray together in Jesus' name.
"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your help to overcome negativity in our dear friend's life. We know that Your word says, 'Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things' (Philippians 4:8 WEB). So, we pray that You fill our friend's mind and heart with these things, driving out all negativity.
We also ask for forgiveness for any words spoken in negativity, knowing that 'if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness' (1 John 1:9 WEB). Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
