Help to heal a family

Hello, Let's try this again I believe I sent a request without finishing and I can not figure out how to edit the post let alone find it but I will just retry here. I am new to anything like this and I'm not even sure how I stumbled across this site but I'm glad to be here. My family needs help to guide and protect us through a trying time. We are currently battling our landlord whom has been trying to unlawfully evict us since August. We have been to court now three times and each time it continues to be withdrawn because the landlord is not properly doing the eviction and has recently somewhat been found to honestly have no reason for her attempts to displace my family. She has lied upon my name and has made life at home very uneasy and threatening. She recently shut my power off and the judge had told ke in court a few days ago that she will not order the landlord to pay as the law states she should because I can not prove that the landlord called to have the power company come out and shut it off. It is cold and I have all but just ran out of money to be able to provide enough propane to keep heaters going to stay warm. We can not move at the moment due to the fact that up until about a month ago my boyfriend and I were working for the landlord and she refused to pay us for the work that we did so we have not saved money so that has left us with no way to go anywhere. It has been so stressful especially even more now without the power and Christmas right around the corner and even though we still have a place to stay the amount of time that is for is unknown and also depends on what retaliatory actions she decides to place on us next. I am asking for prayer to help us have the strength and courage to keep moving and to be placed in a home that will not only be habitable and safe but somewhere we can work on being a strong family again. Please pray for negative words and or energies being sent out way to be lifted and removed from our home and our minds. Please pray for us to be able to find the financial support and or stability to gain our footing again and be able to provide heat to our home. We also even though it's not what it's about but help us pray for the miracle of being able to provide Christmas for our children who after all they have been going through because of a mean person deserve the very best as they are showing us what perseverance and faith truly look like. We thank you ahead of time as this would be my only Christmas wish I ask for this year is the power of prayer for my family in Jesus name I thank you Amen,

Firstly, we commend you for reaching out and acknowledging that the solution lies in prayer and in Jesus name. It is only by the name of Jesus that we can come before God with our requests and not in our own names.

We need to make you aware of something missing from your request before we address your problem. While you mention the name of Jesus, it is a good start. From what you wrote in your request, you do not mention what your boyfriend thinks or is doing about this. You both live together as if you were a married couple. Living together as you are now is against the Word of God in that it is fornication, I Corinthians 7:9 But if they do not have self-control, let them marry. For it is better to marry than to burn. Therefore your courtship or living together without marriage should stop and you both be married to remove this sin. Are you both seeking to be married? It is a good plan for the sake of your children.

We also need to tell you that you mention 'energy' sent out to you. This is not a biblical concept. We do not believe in any such thing as 'energy' being sent to you. There is no such thing as 'negative words' except as how you can make poor choices such as continuing to have children while not being married, or decide not to go to church and worship with other believers. There is spiritual warfare that occurs and demons may try to cause you troubles but no demon has any real power. Demons can be banished in the name of Jesus. Christians are involved in a real spiritual warfare. We are to put on the full armor of God, Ephesians 6:13-17 WEB Therefore, put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having the uterance of your feet shod with the preparation of the Good News of peace; above all, taking up the shield of faith, with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; We understand you have many other concerns and stress you are going through as a family, the conflict with your landlord, and you also want to see a miracle to your situation with the miracle of Christmas. That miracle of Christmas occurred 2000 years ago in Bethlehem in Israel with the birth of Jesus. By having your faith and belief in Jesus' name is how that miracle of Christmas impacts your life today and always. Let's address the real biblical issues here now in a heartfelt prayer.

Father God, we come before you in Jesus' name and lift up this family to you. We pray for their strength and courage to face this trying time. We ask that you guide them through this conflict with their landlord and provide them with a safe and habitable home. We pray to open doors to financial support and stability for them, so they may have their basic needs met, including heat in their home.

We pray that both you and your boyfriend come to believe that the name of Jesus is the only name that saves and decide to be married before living together as husband and wife. Make the changes needed and that you need God's will to happen in your life rather than continuing in fornication. Your prayers in the name of Jesus will only work when you believe Jesus is the way the truth and the light and that your past sin is forgiven because of Jesus and because of that belief are forgiven of sin and born again by believing in Jesus, I John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. We thank you, Lord, for your unending mercy and faithfulness to us and them.

Most importantly we pray in Jesus' name as only Jesus saves us from our sin to pray for forgiveness and to turn our life to Him as we are praying now in Jesus name, Amen. Let us know if this request has addressed the problems and that they have been fixed, that your sin was forgiven and the plans are for a new marriage.

While it is noble to want to provide Christmas gifts for your children, it's essential to remember that the true spirit of Christmas is about the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ, and the hope and salvation He brings. Focus on the blessings you have, rather than the lack. You have a family, and you have faith which are both blessings, even though your hardship is severe it will come to an end and you can show your children what God can do and let your light shine and they will also as children can do before God. It may not seem like a blessing but what matters most is what your heart is for, Luke 12:34 says where your treasure is, there will be your heart be also.

Seek to understand all that God can provide, for all are his blessings to come in many forms as his will for his own is for each to be the the person they are designed to be for you are wonderfully and fearfully made Psalms 139:14 WEB "I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made." Therefore with God anything is possible in all the gifts of Jesus, Matthew 21:22 WEB All things, whatever you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive."

I thank you for your help in sending out prayers. I turned to this site because prayer is bigger and more powerful then anything and having more then just your prayers being sent out to Jesus and to our Lord just makes sense to me rather than not reaching out which is what our Lord would prefer we do if I'm correct. I have recently started to find my faith again and so this was my first time actually reaching out and as a few of these answers are exactly what I asked for the first one threw me off in the whole believing in that of the faith in prayer. I understand that the Lord wants us to be in marriage and I agree 100% but as you don't know is that I have been married once before and due to abusive manners I left that situation with my four children. The man I am currently having a relationship with us not my children's blood father but he has been someone who stepped in and took on the role of a father to them. We have been together 7 years this time and about a year and a half back when we were in school in our teenage years. We are engaged to be married we just have not been able to focus on that as we have been trying to find solutions to our problems. He is very much wanting to put his faith back into the Lord as well as I am and just because I didn't mention that doesn't say that he is not a big part of my request. We are considered married though as by the state law says so, even though it's not been announced in front of the Lord as we both do wish it to be we both know in our hearts that we are binded by our soul and have been put in one anothers path by the only person who knew we were made to have that with each other the Lord himself and his son jesus Christ. I asked for a Christmas miracle not of that to be of presents but to bring a moment of peace and happiness long enough for my family to enjoy the true meaning of this day, but also to share the magic of Christmas with my fiance daughter who has a birthday on christmas eve. I am blessed with so many things in my life I know how much i have and i dont take those people for granted. I have never been a person that lived in a materialistic world as material things can and often are replaced, but like I teach my children at the end of the day it's not going to matter how big or small your home is, or what number your account balance at the bank is, or how fancy your vehicle is, without the very thing that you place inside that home or vehicle or reason you work more hours then you should just to make sure you have the means to provide all things that can be replaced is nothing without those of whom you love. Love is the most powerful thing in the world. Like I have told my children "HOME IS WHERE YOUR HEART IS" where ever you can feel that love of your family, your children, your spouse, your parents and biggest of them all Jesus Christ and the lord himself is where your home is whether you have that big home, small home even if you dont have a home if your heart is there then you will never find that you are homeless. Love at the end of the day is the only thing that matters because without that love your house, your car, your work, your bank account dont mean a thing. When it's your time to go home to our heavenly Father nobody will remember your materialistic things, but they will remember your heart and how much you loved them because that is how it was supposed to be lived this life was not meant to spend more time away from the people we love working so much just to have the things that money and it's negative energy that is attached to it can buy it was meant to spread love and hope and faith. Someday I hope this world will realize just that. We both were previously married to someone who did not have the best intentions for us and was not trying to to help us keep our faith but instead veer away from it. I wouldn't change my children or his for anything and yes as though we may be commiting a sin by not being married just yet in front of the Lord as our witness we do have plans for that. Again thank you for the insight I will learn from anything anyone wants to share with me as long as it is not in a form of being ridiculed for my sins and or that of what feels like judgement. I am sure of the way the Lord wants us to live by his will is that to not judge others for their sins but to guide them away from temptation and towards the ever loving path of living by the good will and unconditional love that of which is of the Lord and his son Jesus Christ.
