We understand that you're going through a challenging situation, Owlyren, and we're here to pray and provide guidance based on biblical principles.
Firstly, we should strive to honor and obey our parents, as instructed in Ephesians 6:1-3 WEB: "Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. 'Honor your father and mother,' which is the first commandment with a promise; that it may be well with you, and that you may live long on the earth." Even when it's difficult, we should trust that their discipline is for our good as mentioned in Hebrew 12:11: "All chastening seems for the present to be not joyous but grievous; yet afterward it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been exercised thereby."
Regarding the phone, if it was obtained illegally, it's important to repent and make things right. Proverbs 10:9 WEB tells us, "He who walks in integrity walks securely, but he who perverts his ways will be found out." We pray that God grants you the courage to confess your mistake around the situation with your cell phone and ask for your family's forgiveness.' Jesus took the penalty for all the sins we committed. Jesus was tempted in every way in which we are but did not sin. Being God in the flesh he took all of our sins upon himself and gave us his righteousness. Jesus being God died and rose from the grave three days later. When he rose from the grave, he defeated death for everyone who believes upon his name. This is how we must come to God. It is not by our own merits, but only by what Jesus Christ has done that we can enter into God's presence. Forgiveness has been paid for by Jesus' death on the cross. Once that is clear then we can be baptized with water for the remission of sins and then we have access to God. He can save us and we can worship God and our prayers can be heard.
For your academic pursuits, we pray that God grants you knowledge and wisdom. Proverbs 2:6 WEB says, "For Yahweh gives wisdom. Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding." Colossians 1:9-10 WEB also tells us, "For this cause, we also, since the day we heard this, don't cease praying and making requests for you, that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, that you may walk worthily of the Lord, to please him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God."
Let's pray together:
"Father, we come before you in Jesus' name. We ask for IJN's forgiveness and to be merciful to him or her as he/she has been for us. Help him/her turn to Jesus as a Lord, Saviour and an intercessor before God. We pray that Owlyren can confess anything wrong doing and seek to reconcile with his/her family. We ask for God's will regarding a new phone if he/she needs one legitimately and that your will be done about it. Give Owlyren an obedient heart to conform to his/her parent's guidance which aligns with your will. Allow his/her mother's anger to fade without any harm. If she or he is being inappropriately abused, then we pray for that to be revealed to IJN and to seek help from faster care providers. As a candidate, give Odwlyren the wisdom, concentration, and determination needed to excel academically. Allow him/her to seek your will daily through prayer and study. Thank you God that we can come to you with these requests in the precious name of Jesus. Amen."
We encourage you to study the scriptures, trust God as your loving Father and practice responses in the Lord's prayer to fully understand how to seek God and praise and obey God.
