We understand that you are feeling overwhelmed and have several concerns weighing heavily on your heart. Firstly, we commend you for turning to Jesus in your time of need. It is only through His name that we can approach God the Father and receive His help and guidance. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.
Let's address your concerns one by one and bring them before the Lord in prayer.
Firstly, regarding your son, it is wonderful to know you are encouraging his involvement in a school play. It is our heartfelt prayer that he will do well, not just for the sake of good performance, but so that he may bring glory to God through his talents. We pray that God will grant him favor in his school and that he will be a light for Jesus among his peers. Remember the words of Proverbs 22:6, Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.
Concerning your mother-in-law, we pray that God will provide for her needs and that He will prompt another family member or friend to step in and assist her with her recertification paperwork. We trust that God, in His faithfulness, will not let her lose her apartment. Psalm 68:5 tells us, A father of the fatherless, and a defender of the widows, is God in his holy habitation.
Regarding Maurice, the man you helped, we commend your courage and kindness in assisting him. We pray that God will completely heal him from his injuries and that any evil intent behind his circumstances will be exposed and dealt with according to God's will. We pray for his protection and that he too will come to know the saving grace of Jesus Christ. Remember, Romans 12:17-21 tells us, Recompense no one evil for evil. Respect what is honorable in the sight of all men. If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men. Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord. Therefore if your enemy is hungry, feed him. If he is thirsty, give him a drink; for in doing so, you will heap coals of fire on his head. Don't be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to cast all your anxieties on Jesus, because He cares for you. In 1 Peter 5:7, it says Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time; casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up needhelpsobad48 and their concerns. Lord, we pray for their son, that You will grant him success in his school play and that he will shine brightly for You. We pray for their mother-in-law, that You will provide for her needs and send help for her recertification paperwork. We ask that You will protect Maurice, heal him, and reveal any evil intent behind his injuries.
Father, we also pray for needhelpsobad48, that You will grant them Your peace and remind them of Your unfailing love and faithfulness. Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, trusting in Your care.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
