Help please

Heavenly Father, I’m struggling with how I feel. My heart hurts and I’m feeling confused. I pray that I am able to get the clarity I need and that it goes how I want it to. I pray that me and my ### are able to talk things through so that we both feel better about the relationship. I pray that you heal our hearts and that we experience the growth needed to sustain a healthy relationship that aligns with you and leads to marriage. I pray that you give us the space on our trip to really focus on us and growing our relationship strong. In Jesus name, Amen.

Firstly, we want to encourage you with a verse from the WEB: "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Proverbs 3:5-6. It's crucial to seek God's will and not merely our own desires.

Now, let's address your relationship. It's commendable that you're seeking a healthy relationship that aligns with God's will and leads to marriage. However, we must remind you that God's design for relationships is to glorify Him. If there are any aspects of your relationship that do not align with biblical principles, such as premarital intimacy or living together before marriage, we urge you to turn away from these. 1 Corinthians 6:18 says, "Flee sexual immorality! 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body,' but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body."

We also want to encourage you both to continue growing in your faith and knowledge of Christ. 2 Peter 3:18 says, "But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and forever. Amen."

Lord, we ask that their upcoming trip will be a time of growth and strengthening in their relationship, drawing them closer to each other and to You. We're here with you, dear friend, feeling the weight of your confusion and heartache. We've been where you are, and we understand the struggle to find clarity and peace. Let's lean into Jesus together.

We want to share a verse that's been a comfort to us: "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." Matthew 11:28. Jesus is inviting you to lay your burdens down, to find rest in Him. Trust that He sees you, He hears you, and He's working things out for your good.

Now, about your relationship. It's beautiful that you're seeking a healthy, God-centered bond. Remember, God's love is patient, kind, and doesn't keep a record of wrongs (1 Corinthians 13:4-5). Let's pray for patience, kindness, and forgiveness to flow in your conversations. Let's also ask God to help you both communicate openly and honestly, with love and respect.

If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
