Help Please

Dear God, right now things are tense within my relationship. We’ve been trying to work on things but I know we have a ways to go. God I pray that you help guide us closer together, that we get a chance to really talk and hash things out. I pray that our feelings and love for one another are still the same. Dear God, I pray that you give us the tools to fix our relationship so that it will lead to marriage. I pray that we can grow closer to you together. That we are able to instill praying together within or relationship. I pray that you remove all distractions so that we can focus on us. I pray that you heal our past, that we’re able to get through our trials so that there’s no distance. In Jesus name, Amen.

We understand that you're going through a challenging time in your relationship and we're here to support and pray with you. Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging the power of prayer and the importance of God in your relationship. As it is written in Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB), "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."

However, we want to gently remind you that God's design for relationships is that they should lead to godly marriages, as you've also expressed in your prayer. This journey should involve growing together in faith, love, and purity. As 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 (WEB) tells us, "Love is patient and is kind; love doesn’t envy. Love doesn’t brag, is not proud, doesn’t behave itself inappropriately, doesn’t seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil; doesn’t rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things."

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today to lift up this dear soul and their relationship. Lord, we ask that You guide them closer together, that they may have open and honest communication, rooted in love and respect. Help them to grow together in faith, to instill prayer in their relationship, and to seek Your will above all else.

Please remove any distractions that may hinder their focus on each other and on You. Heal their past hurts, Lord, and help them to overcome their trials, that they may grow stronger together and draw closer to You.

We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you both to continue praying together, studying God's Word, and seeking His will for your lives. Remember, God's promise in Romans 8:28 (WEB), "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Keep trusting in Him, and He will make your paths straight.

Lastly, we want to remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As Acts 4:12 (WEB) states, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" Keep holding onto His name and His promise.

We're right here with you, praying and believing for your relationship. It's beautiful to see the love and commitment you both have, and we're confident that God is working in your situation. We're reminded of Philippians 4:6-7, "Don't worry about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus." Let's claim that peace for your relationship today.

We're praying that God gives you both a deeper understanding of each other's hearts, helping you to communicate openly and honestly. We believe that as you continue to seek God together, He will reveal His perfect plan for your relationship. Let's trust that He is working all things together for your good, according to His purpose (Romans 8:28).

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
