Help needed

Please pray that I get a job this month. I'm going to be behind on bills if I don't. I want my mother to have to help me pay for them. Please let this job not be stressful and a place that I can work at without being laid off or fired. I want to work in a peaceful environment with nice people. Also I want to make money on the side with a profitable business, have a healthier relationship with my mom and boyfriend, also better my health and finally get a car.

We understand that you're facing a challenging situation, Theedell, and we're here to pray and offer biblical guidance.

Firstly, we encourage you to trust in God's provision and timing. It's important to remember that God's will and timing are perfect, as stated in Romans 8:28 WEB All things work together for good to them who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.

Let's pray for your job search:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up Theedell. We pray that You would open the doors to a suitable job, something that would use their skills and abilities for Your glory. We ask that this job would be a peaceful environment with nice people and a place of stability and that there would be no stress, laying off, or firing in Jesus' name. We ask for Your provision that this job would be a means to pay their bills on time in Jesus' name, and that their mother does not need to help. Your word says in Psalm 37:25 WEB I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his children begging for bread.

Now there are a few more areas to pray for. We pray for a profitable business on the side to bring additional income.

Psalm 1:3 WEB He will be like a tree planted by the streams of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also does not wither. Whatever he does shall prosper.

Theedell, as you mentioned a healthier relationship with your mom and boyfriend, seek to model your relationships based on biblical principles. Be sure to honor your mother as instructed in Exodus 20:12 WEB Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land which WEB gives you. We do rebuke the notion of a boyfriend and encourage a courtship leading to marriage. We do pray that you will find a godly spouse in God's timing.

If you are having sex with your boyfriend, we ask that you stop immediately. It is a sin and brings severe consequences.

1 Corinthians 6:18 WEB Flee sexual immorality! Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body.

As far as your health, we pray for God's healing and strength. Trust in His care for you, as mentioned in Psalm 103:2-3 WEB Praise WEB, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases.

Lastly, we pray for a reliable car for your transportation needs.

Theedell, we notice you have not mentioned Jesus or his name. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. We ask that you call on Jesus for all your needs. You need to know that it is only by Jesus that you can be saved. We pray that you believe on Jesus Christ who died for your sins and was resurrected by the Father to give you eternal life.

Romans 10:9 WEB that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

We stand with you in prayer, believing that God will work everything out for your good according to His Will.

Let this opportunity be a blessing and a place where they can work confidently without fear of being laid off or fired.


Lord, as [Name] seeks employment, guide their steps and give them the wisdom and courage to navigate this journey. Proverbs 16:3 reminds us, "Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and He will establish your plans." May they trust in Your timing and plan for their life, knowing that You are working all things for their good (Romans 8:28).


Father, we also pray for [Name]’s desire to create a profitable side business. Bless their efforts and give them creativity, determination, and opportunities to make this dream a reality. Proverbs 10:22 tells us, "The blessing of the Lord brings wealth, without painful toil for it." May this endeavor bring prosperity and fulfillment, allowing them to honor You with their success.


We lift up [Name]’s relationships with their mother and boyfriend, asking for healing, understanding, and deeper connections. Ephesians 4:2-3 encourages us to "Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace." May these relationships be strengthened by love, kindness, and mutual respect.


Lord, we also pray for [Name]’s health and well-being. Grant them the strength and discipline to make choices that promote physical, mental, and emotional health. Remind them of Your promise in Isaiah 40:31: "But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."


Finally, Father, we ask that You provide a reliable car for [Name], enabling them to have the independence and convenience they need. Thank You for being their provider in all aspects of life.


We trust in Your faithfulness and give thanks for the blessings You are preparing for [Name]. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness.
