Help need prayers of reconciliation!

Hello,

I need prayers of reconciliation. My wife has left to stay with her sister for a few days, if not permanently, to figure things out. She wants to leave. She says she is still in love with her ex from 17 years ago, we have been together for 16 and have a 15 yr old son. Pastor convinced her to stay with her sister locally during this time because she stated if she travelled to her friends she would end up seeing him and cheating on me. She did cheat once a couple years ago with a pretty bad guy. Please help.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear friend who is in need of your divine intervention and reconciliation in their marriage. Lord, you are the God of restoration and healing, and we believe that nothing is impossible for you.

Father, we pray for our friend's wife who is struggling with feelings for her ex from many years ago. We ask that you would touch her heart and bring clarity to her mind. Help her to see the value and love that she has in her current marriage and family. Remove any lingering attachments or emotional ties to her past relationship and fill her heart with a renewed love and commitment for her husband.

Lord, we pray for our friend who is hurting and feeling the pain of betrayal. Comfort them in their distress and grant them the strength to forgive and extend grace to their spouse. Heal the wounds caused by the past infidelity and restore trust in their relationship. Help them to navigate through this challenging time with wisdom and understanding.

Father, we ask for your guidance and wisdom for the pastor who is involved in this situation. Give them the words to speak and the discernment to provide godly counsel that will lead to reconciliation and restoration.

We also pray for their 15-year-old son who may be affected by the tension and uncertainty in the family. Surround him with your love and peace, and help him to understand and cope with the challenges his parents are facing.

Lord, we know that you are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. We trust in your perfect timing and your plan for this family. May your will be done in their lives, and may your love and grace prevail.
