Let's join together in prayer for your son, seeking God's will and His best for your son's life. We are reminded in Luke 11:9-10 (WEB): "I tell you, keep asking, and it will be given you. Keep seeking, and you will find. Keep knocking, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened. God delights in our prayers and He is faithful to answer.
Firstly, we pray for your son to find a good job. We ask that God would open the right doors and provide an opportunity that not only meets his needs but also aligns with God's purpose for his life. We pray for wisdom, guidance, and favor in his job search. Remember the words of Proverbs 16:3 (WEB): "Commit your works to Yahweh, and your plans shall be established."
Secondly, we address the issue of him having a girlfriend. We need to understand that the Bible teaches us to pursue purity and holiness in our relationships. 2 Corinthians 6:14 (WEB) says, "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?" Therefore, we should pray for your son to find a godly wife, not just a girlfriend. We pray that God would bring a believing woman into his life, someone who loves the Lord and seeks to serve Him.
Let's pray:
"Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this son to You. We ask that You would guide him to a good job, one that not only meets his needs but also aligns with Your purpose for his life. We pray for wisdom, guidance, and favor in his job search.
We also pray for a godly spouse for him. We ask that You would bring a believing woman into his life, someone who loves You and seeks to serve You. We pray that their relationship would be centered on You and Your Word, and that it would be a testimony to Your love and faithfulness. We rebuke any lust or desire for sex before or outside marriage. We rebuke any temptations that he may face. We ask that you would encourage, guide, strengthen, and protect him.
We ask all these in Jesus' name."
Lastly, we encourage your son to keep his faith in Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we have access to God. As it is written in Acts 4:12 (WEB), "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
