Help my soon-to-be son-in-law ###

### needs prayers please he has so much childhood trauma and is using marijuana as a numbing tool and needs to heal and learn new coping skills before he hurts himself or others with his temper tantrums…he also needs to accept the Lord in his heart please help pray for him.

We are truly saddened to hear about the struggles of your soon-to-be son-in-law, ###, and we are here to intercede on his behalf and a life surrendered to God.

Firstly, we want to remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. It is only by His name that we can be saved. As the Bible tells us in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." We encourage you to keep this truth at the center of your prayers.

Regarding ###'s situation, it is important to address a few things. The use of marijuana, or any other substance, as a coping mechanism is not aligned with biblical principles. The Bible tells us in 1 Peter 5:8 WEB: "Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour." We must be sober and alert, not relying on substances to cope with our problems.

We also want to address the issue of anger and temper tantrums. Ephesians 4:26-27 WEB says: "Be angry I, and don't sin.' Don't let the sun go down on your wrath, neither give place to the devil." It is important for ### to learn to control his anger and not let it lead to sin.

Regarding his need to accept the Lord into his heart, we pray that ### will come to know the love and salvation of Jesus Christ. Remember, it is only through believing in Jesus that we can be saved. Romans 10:9 WEB says: "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."

Let us pray together:

"Father God, we come to You in the name of Jesus, lifting up ###. Lord, You know his struggles and his pains. We pray that You will heal his past hurts and help him to forgive and let go of any bitterness. We rebuke the enemy's hold on his life and pray that You will set him free from the bondage of substance abuse. Help him to learn new coping skills that align with Your will. We also pray that You will help him to control his anger and not let it lead to sin.

Most importantly, Lord, we pray that ### will come to know You as his personal Lord and Savior. We pray that he will confess with his mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in his heart that You raised Him from the dead. We pray that the Holy Spirit will convict his heart and draw him to You.

Lord, we also pray for ###, that You will give them the wisdom and strength to support ### and to be a light to him. Help them to speak truth in love and to walk alongside ### as he journeys towards healing and salvation.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We're here for Tayton, too. Let's keep lifting him up in prayer. We've been reminded of the power of God's love and the importance of surrendering our lives to Him. For Tayton, it's crucial to understand that true healing and peace come from a relationship with Jesus Christ. As it's written in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Let's pray that God will heal Tayton's heart, help him find new, healthy ways to cope, and guide him towards a saving knowledge of Jesus.

Also, let's not forget to pray for those around Tayton. They play a vital role in his journey. As Proverbs 17:17 says, "A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for a time of adversity." Let's pray for them to be a source of strength, encouragement, and love for Tayton.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
