We understand that you are going through a challenging time with your son, Brandon, and we want to lift him up in prayer with you. The scripture tells us, "Donโt be anxious for anything, but in everything by prayer and pleading with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:6-7 WEB)
Firstly, we want to remind you and Brandon that God is the ultimate provider. As it says in Matthew 6:31-33 WEB, "Therefore donโt be anxious, saying, โWhat will we eat?โ, โWhat will we drink?โ or, โWith what will we be clothed?โ For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first Godโs Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up Brandon to You. Lord, You know the struggles he is facing, the financial burdens, and the car troubles. We ask, Father, that You would provide for him, that You would open doors of opportunity for him to earn and save, and that You would help him manage his finances wisely.
Lord, we also pray for his faith. Help him to trust in You, to seek Your kingdom first, and to know that You are his provider. Comfort his heart and give him peace, knowing that You are in control.
In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage Brandon to continue to trust in God and to seek Him in all things. We also encourage you, as his parent, to guide him in the ways of the Lord, reminding him that "All hard work brings a profit, but mere talk leads only to poverty." (Proverbs 14:23 WEB)
Lastly, we want to gently remind you that the power of our prayers comes from the name of Jesus. As it says in John 14:13-14 WEB, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." So, let's continue to pray in Jesus' name, trusting that our prayers are heard and answered according to God's will.
