We are deeply concerned for your friend and we join you in lifting him up to the Lord. It is indeed through Jesus Christ that healing and transformation come, as it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
Firstly, we commend you for understanding the power of prayer and intercession. Even when you cannot contact him, God is able to reach him. Let's pray:
"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ. We lift up our friend who is struggling with mental disorders and a narcissistic personality. We know that these are not in line with Your will for him, as You desire that he be conformed to the image of Your Son, Jesus Christ (Romans 8:29). We ask, Lord, that the Holy Spirit would convict him of his sins, draw him to repentance, and drive out any evil spirits that may be influencing him (John 16:8-11). We claim the promise in Matthew 17:21, that 'this kind goes out only by prayer and fasting.' So, we pray and we fast for his deliverance and healing. We ask that You would reveal Yourself to him, that he would know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, and that he would be filled with all the fullness of God (Ephesians 3:19). We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen."
We encourage you to continue in prayer and fasting for your friend. Remember, our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12). Stand firm in your faith, knowing that God is able to do abundantly more than all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).
Lastly, we gently remind you to examine your own heart and ensure that you are right with God. As it is written in Matthew 7:3-5, "Why do you see the speck that is in your brother's eye, but don't consider the beam that is in your own eye?... You hypocrite! First, remove the beam out of your own eye, and then you can see clearly to remove the speck out of your brother's eye." This is not to say that you are wrong in your concern, but rather to encourage you to humbly come before God, knowing that we all fall short and are in need of His grace and mercy.
