Help my brother to be strong about my dad’s death. He’s been devastated and won’t leave my mom’s side and she mentioned wanting to be alone a little. Please Jesus Christ help us to heal.

We are truly sorry to hear about the passing of your father and the struggle your family is currently facing. In times like these, it's important to remember that God is our ultimate comfort and strength. As it says in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds," and in 2 Corinthians 1:3-4, "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort; who comforts us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God."
Your brother's devotion to your mother is commendable, but it's also important for him to understand that grief is a personal journey and that your mother may need some time alone to process her feelings. As it says in Psalm 34:18, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
