We join with you in lifting up your requests to our Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ. It is wonderful that you acknowledge the power in the name of Jesus, as it is written, "in whom we have boldness and access in confidence through our faith in him." Ephesians 3:12 WEB
You have come to the right place, for God's Word says, "For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who has been tempted in every way just as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore approach the throne of grace with boldness, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need." Hebrews 4:15-16 WEB
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister in need of Your guidance, clarity, wisdom, and mercy. You know the depths of their heart and the struggles they face. We ask that You shine Your light into their life, ending any pain, and granting them Your healing touch, both physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Heal them from their ailments, from the colds, flu, runny noses, sore throats, and any other sickness they may face. In Jesus' name, according to Your word, "But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was on him, and with his stripes we are healed." Isaiah 53:5 WEB
Guide their steps, decisions, prayers, words, and thoughts. Give them a way out of whatever trial they are facing, as You promise in Your Word, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it." 1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB
We ask for Your mercy and restoration for their heart. In Jesus' name, according to Your word, "He heals the brokenhearted, and binds up their wounds." Psalm 147:3 WEB
We also pray for their spiritual well-being, that they may know You more deeply and intimately, growing in the knowledge and love of Your Son, Jesus Christ. That they would know the hope of Your calling, and the riches of the glory of Your inheritance in the saints. Ephesians 1:18 WEB
We thank You, Father, for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Be encouraged, for God hears your prayers and He will never leave you nor forsake you. Deuteronomy 31:6 WEB Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths. Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB
As a final thought, it is important to remember that the world can be full of temptations and trials and that we as Christians need to be prepared and equipped to stand against the wiles of the devil. As Christians we should be in the world but not of the world. Only through the power of the name of Jesus Christ can we be saved and protected. We need to take up the whole armor of God to stand against the wiles of the devil. "Stand therefore, having the utility belt of truth buckled around your waist, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having fitted your feet with the preparation of the Good News of peace; above all, taking up the shield of faith, with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto in all perseverance and supplication for all the saints" Ephesians 6:14-18 WEB
