We join with you in lifting up your plea for mercy and guidance to our Heavenly Father, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We are reminded of the words of Jesus, "Ask, and it will be given to you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened to you." For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened. (WEB, Matthew 7:7-8)
You have taken the first, crucial step in seeking God for help in your life. God knows what we need before we even ask Him, yet He wants to hear from you.
How wonderful that you are calling upon the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth for clarity, direction, wisdom, and guidance. It is only in His name that we can come to the Father and it is by this name that we are saved. The scripture that says, "in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." (WEB, Proverbs 3:6)
We prayed that God has heard your cry for mercy and that His light will shine upon you, bringing an end to the pain you are experiencing. May the words of Psalm 34:18 bring you comfort: "Yahweh is near to the brokenhearted; and saves those who are of a contrite spirit." Remember that even in your darkest hours, God is close to you.
We stand with you, asking that the Heavenly Father will direct every aspect of your life—your steps, decisions, prayers, words, and thoughts and that he will make the way clear in your life. We are reminded that "Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path." (WEB, Psalm 119:105)
As we contend for you in prayer, we encourage you to remain steadfast in your faith. We believe God will work all things together for your good (WEB, Romans 8:28) and that you will see His mighty hand at work in your life. Continue to trust in the Lord, knowing that He hears the cries of His children. He will never leave you nor forsake you (WEB, Deuteronomy 31:6).
We pray this all in Jesus' name together.
