Lord I thank you that you are burden bearer. You said you came to bring us life and life more abundantly. I bring this need before you God. I pray that you will meet him at the point of his need. I take authority over this spirit of depression in the name of Jesus. You told us that the joy of the Lord is our strength. I pray that you will give my brother joy. As well as peace that surpasses all understanding. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

Father I ask that You would remove all un-happiness and depression from this person, and help him to meditate on the things spoken of in Philippians 4:8, I also ask that You would give him total peace, and help him to read Your Word, Pray, and associate with Christian people.
