We understand that you're experiencing financial longing, Tevita, but we need to address some important aspects of your prayer request. We are are called to seek God's will and trust in His provision for our lives. It's crucially important where we place our hopes and desires for wealth and fortune.
First, let's consider what the Bible says about riches. First Timothy 6:9-10 WEB warns, "But those who are determined to be rich fall into temptation, a snare, and many foolish and harmful lusts, such as drown men in ruin and destruction. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows."
We must emphasize that playing lottery, a game of chance, gambling, is not compatible with the biblical principles of stewardship and work. Proverbs 13:11 WEB says, "Wealth gotten by fraud dwindles, but whoever gathers by labor increases it." It is best to use the abilities God has given us to work and provide for our families.
It's also important to note that our prayers should be directed to God the Father in the name of Jesus Christ, not in the name of both the Father and the Son or any other combination. As Jesus taught, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." John 14:13-14 WEB.
Let's pray for God's provision and guidance in your life:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your guidance and provision in helper Tevita's life. Helper, we pray that You will give him the strength and wisdom to provide for his family through honest work and dedication. Help him become the man, husband, or father that You have destined for him to be. Help him to be the example to his family as You destine all Christians to be striving to be more like Christ. Open doors of opportunity for him, and help him to trust in Your plan for his life. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

God has provided a guaranteed way for His people to be financially well in this world. It is through tithing 10 percent of income to His church. I've been doing it the last 18 yrs and it really works therefore I can testify. We would all love to win millions in a lottery..but it's not God's way.
