Heavenly Father, we come before you on behalf of Dupeford, who is seeking your help and guidance. Lord, we acknowledge that pride and the desire to feel special can hinder our relationship with you and with others. We ask for your grace and mercy to help Dupeford overcome this struggle.
In your Word, you remind us that true rest and peace are found in coming to you with a meek and humble heart. Jesus, you invite us to take your yoke upon us and learn from you, for you are gentle and humble in heart . We pray that Dupeford may truly embrace this invitation and find rest in you.
We ask for a spirit of childlike simplicity and authenticity to replace any desire to compete or seek recognition. Help Dupeford to let go of pretense and self-focus, and instead, find true peace in beholding you, Lord. May Dupeford be delivered from the urge to exalt oneself and instead find joy in serving and following you.
Lord, we humbly ask for your forgiveness for any self-centered thoughts or actions. We pray for a transformation of Dupeford's heart, that they may be filled with a genuine love for you and others. May Dupeford be emptied of self and filled with your presence, experiencing a divine and heavenly purity.
We also lift up Dupeford's prayer for divine contemplation and a deeper connection with you. May they experience moments of extraordinary revelation and encounter your glory, just as the writer of this passage did. May these moments of communion with you bring tears of repentance, gratitude, and a renewed desire to be sanctified and devoted to you.
Lastly, we pray for Dupeford to come to you, Father, through the old and tried way of faith in Jesus Christ. Help them to draw near to you, pleading the name of Jesus. We ask that Dupeford would approach you with humility, acknowledging their sinfulness and unworthiness, but also trusting in your promises and the invitation to come to you through Jesus.
In Jesus' name, we pray, believing that you will hear and answer this prayer according to your perfect will. Amen.
