We are certainly with you in spirit, Maparda, as you seek God's protection for the children traveling home from school. Let us align our hearts with the will of God and pray according to His promises.
Firstly, we encourage you to always pray in the name of Jesus Christ, as it is through Him that we have access to the Father. As it is written in John 14:13-14 (WEB), "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."
Let us pray:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your divine protection for the children traveling home from school. We plead the blood of Jesus over their lives, and we rebuke any evil that may try to hinder their journey.
Lord, You promise in Psalm 91:9-12 (WEB), 'Because you have made Yahweh your refuge, and the Most High your dwelling place, no evil shall happen to you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling. For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone.' We claim this promise for these children, Lord. Command Your angels to guard and guide them, to keep them safe from all harm.
Lord, we also pray against any spiritual problems that may arise in this month of August. We know that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12, WEB). We stand firm in Your mighty power, Lord, and we pray that these children will be covered by Your spiritual armor.
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen."
Maparda, continue to trust in the Lord, knowing that He hears your prayers and will act according to His good and perfect will. Encourage others to pray in the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12, WEB).
May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7, WEB).
