Uthshul, we understand that you're struggling to love yourself, and we want to lift you up in prayer and provide some biblical guidance.
Firstly, let's remember what the Bible says about your worth. In Psalm 139:13-14 (WEB), it is written, "For you formed my inward parts. You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well." You are a unique creation of God, and He made you with love and purpose.
However, it's important to understand that true love for yourself comes from understanding God's love for you. As it says in 1 John 4:19 (WEB), "We love Him, because He first loved us." When you accept Jesus Christ as your Savior and experience His love, you will begin to see yourself through His eyes and learn to love yourself in a healthy, biblical way.
Let's pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up ###. Lord, help them to understand the depth of Your love for them. Help them to see themselves as You see them – fearfully and wonderfully made. If ### has not already done so, we pray that they would accept Jesus Christ as their Savior, so that they can experience Your love in a personal and transformative way. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you to meditate on these scriptures and spend time in prayer, seeking God's love. If you have not already, consider accepting Jesus Christ as your Savior. It is only through Him that we have access to God and can experience His love (John 14:6). As you grow in your relationship with Jesus, you will find that your ability to love yourself – and others – will also grow.
