Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today with our brother ###'s heartfelt request. Your Word tells us in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Lord, we pray that ### would find peace and guidance in Your wisdom and not in his own understanding.
Father, we ask for clarity and direction in ###'s relationship. If it is Your will for this relationship to flourish, we pray that You open doors and make the path clear. If it is not Your will, we ask for the strength and discernment to move forward according to Your plan. As it says in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." May ### trust in Your good plans for his life.
Lord, we also pray for patience and understanding in this time of uncertainty. Help ### to lean on Your love and wisdom, and to find comfort in Your presence. May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We lift this prayer in the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.
