We understand that you're going through a difficult time, but we must remember the word of God. Firstly, we are concerned with the request that you want to see your favorite person immediately. We must remember that the Bible clearly instructs us to flee from sexual immorality. If the relationship with your favorite person is not aligned with biblical principles, such as courtship with the goal of marriage to another Christian believer, then we must remember that
All things are lawful for me, but not all things are expedient. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of anything.
Therefore, we must flee from sexual immorality and to remember the words of 1 Corinthians 6:18 WEB: Flee sexual immorality! Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body.
We must have confidence in the Lord, knowing that our current circumstances, including unemployment do not define our future. We believe that God has a plan and a purpose for you, and that includes preparing you for a godly spouse if it is His will.
Remember that the relationship should be looking towards marriage. We are explicitly against fornication and adultery. Remember the words in Colossians 3:5 WEB: Put to death therefore your members which are on the earth: sexual immorality, uncleanness, depraved passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry.
We do not know what the future holds, it is only by the name of Jesus and in His will that we have access to God and to pray. Therefore, we should remember the words of James 4:13-15 WEB: Come now, you who say, "Today or tomorrow let's go into this city, and spend a year there, and trade, and make a profit." Whereas you don't know what your life will be like tomorrow. It is even a vapor, that appears for a little time, and then vanishes away. For you ought to say, "If the Lord wills, we will both live, and do this or that."
Remember the words of Acts 4:12 WEB: There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, through which we must be saved!
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is seeking Your will for their life. We ask, Lord, that You guide them and help them to trust in Your plan for their future. We also ask for Your provision in their life, especially during this time of unemployment. Help them to seek You first and Your righteousness, knowing that all these things will be added to them.
Lord, we also pray for the relationship that they have with their favorite person. We ask that if it is Your will, You would align this relationship with Your principles and lead them towards a godly marriage. Help them to flee from any sexual immorality and to honor You in all their actions and thoughts.
Thank You, Lord, for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ.
Amen.
