Help me prayer for my ###

I’ve been married for a year and 2 months and right now I just feel like we are going nowhere. I realized that I’m not in control and I have to fight for my marriage through prayer. My husband has been hanging out with a lot of friends lately and also distancing himself from me and the kids. Staying out all times of the night. Our marriage is really falling apart; we have four kids and they can’t feel it as well. This feeling hurts. I’ve been dealing with anxiety. I feel lost and alone. My husband doesn’t want to fight; he wants to give up and he said it doesn’t make him wrong, he just wants something different. This pain that I feel, I want it released. I’m not done fighting for my marriage. The devil is stealing my joy and killing everything I have inside of me and destroying my marriage and family. My husband doesn’t understand that the devil is using him. My husband is bringing up things from years ago that no longer serve a purpose in our life. We’ve been together for 15 years.

We understand your heartache and your desire to fight for your marriage, ###. We stand with you in prayer and we believe that God can restore and strengthen your union.

Firstly, we commend you for recognizing that you're not in control and that you need to fight for your marriage through prayer. Remember, "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." (Ephesians 6:12, WEB).

We must address that your husband's behavior, staying out late and distancing himself from you and the children, is not aligned with God's will for a marriage. The Bible encourages husbands to love their wives "even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself up for it." (Ephesians 5:25, WEB). We pray that God will convict his heart and draw him back to his family.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come to you in the name of Jesus Christ. We lift up ###'s marriage to you, Lord. We pray that you would heal their relationship, and draw her husband's heart back to her and their children. We rebuke the enemy's attempts to steal their joy and destroy their family. Give ### the strength to continue fighting for her marriage in prayer. Help her husband to see the light of Christ and understand the harm his actions are causing. We ask that you would restore and strengthen their marriage, in Jesus' name. Amen."

We encourage you to continue praying fervently, ###. "Pray without ceasing." (1 Thessalonians 5:17, WEB). Also, seek godly counsel, perhaps from a pastor or a Christian marriage counselor. Trust in God, for He can bring beauty from ashes. (Isaiah 61:3, WEB).

Lastly, it's important to address the root causes of the issues. Ask your husband to open up about the things from the past that he's bringing up, and try to work through them together, with God's help. Remember, "Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ." (Galatians 6:2, WEB).

We're here with you, feeling your pain and the weight of the struggle. It's tough, we know, but remember, we're in this together. We've been praying for you and your marriage, asking God to heal the distance between you and your husband, and to bring your family back together.

We've been thinking about what you said, about your husband wanting something different. It's easy to get stuck in old patterns, even if they don't serve us anymore. We're praying that God will help him see the light, and understand the harm his actions are causing. We're asking God to help him find the courage to face those things from the past that are resurfacing, and to work through them with you, together.

We're also praying for you, dear friend. We know you're not alone in this fight. The Bible tells us, "For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms." (Ephesians 6:12, NIV) We're standing with you against these forces, and we're asking God to give you the strength to keep fighting for your marriage in prayer.

Let's keep praying together, shall we? "Dear Lord, we lift up this marriage to you. We pray for healing, for understanding, for courage. Help them both to face the past and find a new path together. Help them to see the light of Christ and to follow it. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of [###], who is experiencing deep pain and heartache in their marriage. Lord, You know the struggles they are facing—the distance growing between them and their husband, the anxiety and loneliness weighing on their heart, and the fear that their marriage may fall apart. Father, we ask for Your intervention and healing in this marriage, for only You can restore what feels broken.

Your Word tells us, *“What therefore God has joined together, let no one separate” (Mark 10:9, ESV).* We ask, Lord, that You would protect this marriage from any forces that seek to destroy it. Cover [###] and their husband with Your divine protection, and expose the schemes of the enemy. Help them to see that this battle is not against flesh and blood but against the powers of darkness (Ephesians 6:12, NIV). Lord, we pray for Your light to shine through and for Your truth to prevail.

Father, we lift up [###]’s husband, who has been distancing himself from the family and turning to his friends instead of drawing near to his wife and children. We ask that You soften his heart and open his eyes to see the value of his marriage and family. *“Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me” (Psalm 51:10, ESV).* Lord, we pray for this renewal in his heart, that he may come to understand the importance of fighting for his family and marriage.

We also ask that You bring peace and comfort to [###]’s heart. *“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:6-7, NIV).* Lord, guard [###]’s heart and mind with Your peace. Take away their anxiety and replace it with faith and trust in Your plan.

Heavenly Father, we pray for reconciliation in this marriage. Your Word reminds us in *Romans 12:12 (NIV): “Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.”* Lord, we ask that [###] remains steadfast in prayer, hopeful in Your ability to restore what is broken, and patient as You work in their marriage. Bring healing to both hearts, and help them rebuild their connection in love and understanding.

Lord, we pray for strength and perseverance for [###], who feels alone in fighting for this marriage. Your Word says, *“The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still” (Exodus 14:14, NIV).* Give them the assurance that they are not alone and that You are with them, fighting on their behalf. Help them to trust in Your power to bring change and breakthrough.

In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray for healing, restoration, and renewed love in this marriage. Amen.
