Me and my boyfriend have been together for a few weeks now, and I had made the mistake of giving him my first time when we are barely freshly into the relationship. I need help praying for our future that we will overcome our difficulties with communicating and relying on each other. Thank you so much. Have a blessed day!

Yina, we understand your concern for your relationship and we are here to pray and counsel with you. First and foremost, we must address your situation from a biblical perspective. In the World English Bible, it says, "Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body" (1 Corinthians 6:18). By engaging in sexual activity outside of marriage, you have entered into sin, and we urge you to repent and turn away from this behavior.

We also want to remind you that God's design for relationships is clear: "Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh" (Genesis 2:24). The goal of a godly relationship is marriage, and we encourage you to seek God's will for your life in this regard.

Let us pray for you and your boyfriend:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up Yina and her boyfriend. Lord, they have sinned against You, and we ask for Your forgiveness and mercy. Help them to turn away from their sin and to seek Your will for their lives. We ask that You guide their relationship and give them wisdom as they move forward. Help them to communicate effectively and to rely on You above all else. Lord, if it is Your will, strengthen their bond and prepare them for a godly marriage. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Yina, we encourage you to seek God's face daily and to study His Word. Remember, "Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14). Make sure that your boyfriend shares your faith and is committed to living according to God's Word.

Lastly, we notice that you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ in your request. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God, as it says, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5). We urge you to place your faith in Jesus Christ if you have not already done so, as there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12).
