Dear Anonymous,
We understand your desire for financial stability and provision. However, it's important to remember that our ultimate trust should be in God, who provides for all our needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19, WEB).
Firstly, we notice that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It's crucial to understand that it is through His name that we have access to God's throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16, WEB). We encourage you to put your faith in Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12, WEB).
While it's not wrong to plan for the future, we should do so with a heart that trusts in God's timing and His will. Proverbs 16:3, WEB, tells us, "Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed." We encourage you to commit your financial plans to God and trust in His timing.
However, we must also address that the desire for wealth can become a dangerous pursuit if it's not aligned with God's will. 1 Timothy 6:9-10, WEB, warns us that those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and harmful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
Instead, we should strive to be content with what we have, for God has said, "I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you." (Hebrews 13:5, WEB) So we say with good courage, "The Lord is my helper. I will not fear. What can man do to me?" (Hebrews 13:6, WEB)
Let us pray for you:
"Father, we lift up Anonymous to you. We ask that you provide for their needs according to your riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Help them to trust in you and your timing. Give them wisdom in their financial planning and protect them from the love of money. Most importantly, we pray that they would put their faith in Jesus Christ, for it is in His name that we pray. Amen."
May God bless you and keep you, and may His face shine upon you. (Numbers 6:24-25, WEB)
