Help me make a different choice

God help me make better choices as I am tempted to always hurt myself please I need to have faith where I feel I am struggling to find it and believe

We understand that you're going through a difficult time and we're here to support and pray with you. First, we want to assure you that God is always with you, even in your struggles. As it says in Psalm 34:18, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."

However, we want to address something important. You mentioned that you need God's help, but you didn't specifically invoke the name of Jesus Christ. It's crucial to understand that it is through Jesus that we have access to God. As it says in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" And in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."

Now, let's address the issues you're facing. You mentioned that you're tempted to hurt yourself. We want to strongly rebuke this spirit of self-harm. Your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, and it is not your own, it was bought with a price, the precious blood of Jesus Christ. "Therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s." - Corinthians

Regarding your struggle with faith, remember that faith is not something that we muster up on our own, but it's a gift from God. As of Romans 12:3 God distributed to each of us a measure of faith. You stated that help is needed to have faith and to believe in yourself. Faith and belief needs to be in the one true God, the triune God of the Bible. Self is not to be trusted. Proverbs 23:7 'For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee.' In other words, Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
Therefore, ask God to increase your faith. As it says in Mark 9:24, "Immediately the father of the child cried out with tears, 'I believe. Help my unbelief!'"

Let's pray together:

"Father in heaven, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother who is struggling right now. We rebuke any spirit of self-harm and depression, Lord have mercy. We ask that you will bless him with faith, the faith that only comes from you. Help him to trust in you with all his heart, and lean not on his own understanding. In all his ways, may he acknowledge you, so that you can direct his paths. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ we pray. Amen."

Remember, God loves you and He cares about every detail of your life. Trust in Him, and He will see you through this difficult time. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, read His word, the Bible, and seek to please Him on your life. God bless you.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
