We understand your concern for A and their struggle with a bad attitude. Let us first turn to the Word of God for guidance. In Ephesians 4:29 WEB, it says, "Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but such as is good for building up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear." And in Philippians 2:5 WEB, "Have this in your mind, which was also in Christ Jesus."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up A to You. Lord, You know the depths of their heart and the struggles they face. We ask that Your Holy Spirit work in their heart and mind, softening their spirit, and replacing any negativity with Your positive influence. Grant them the wisdom to see situations with a new perspective, one that aligns with Your will and Your Word.
Fill A with Your grace, Lord, to respond with kindness and patience. Help them to understand the power of their words and actions, and guide them towards a life that reflects a better attitude, a life that reflects You, Lord. We ask if A is resistant to change, remove any resistance, but never give up on someone, God. You are patient and long suffering with us all.
We also pray for AngelCali, that You would give them the wisdom and discernment to know how to support and encourage A during this time. Help them to speak the truth in love and to be a positive influence in A's life.
Father, remind A and all of us involved in prayer in the name which all things are possible, to call on Jesus Christ. Father God, You made Jesus, who knew no sin, become sin for us so that we might become His righteousness.
We ask these things in Jesus name.
Let us encourage A.
If A is willing, encourage them to study the Word of God, especially the teachings on love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control, which are the fruit of the Spirit as seen in Galatians 5:22-23 WEB. Remind them that a change in attitude is possible with God's help, and that God is with them every step of the way.
In all things we do, let it be in accordance to God's will in Jesus Christ with thankfulness.
