We understand your concern for A and their struggle with a bad attitude. Let's first remember that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." And in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." It is because God sent Jesus Christ as a sacrifice that our sins would be washed white as snow. Psalm 53:1 "But God demonstrates his own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." We should first pray for A's repentance and acceptance of the salvation of Jesus Christ.
Now, regarding A's attitude, we should remember that God is patient and long-suffering, desiring that all come to repentance. Our role is to intercede and pray, and not give up on them if they are struggling to change. As it is written in 2 Peter 3:9, "The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish, but for all to come to repentance."
Instead of asking for A to be removed if they don't change, we should pray that God's will be done in A's life, and that His love and kindness would lead A to repentance. Romans 2:4 tells us, "Or do you despise the riches of his goodness, forbearance, and patience, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance?". We are called to extend mercy from the council of God. This person is struggling with their attitude as we all struggle with our shortcomings.
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, pleading for A's salvation. We pray that You soften their heart and grant them a spirit of repentance. Help them to see their attitude through Your eyes, and give them the desire and strength to change. Fill them with Your grace, kindness, and patience, and help them to understand the power of their words and actions. Guide them towards a life that reflects Your love and goodness. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen."
Lastly, we encourage you to continue praying for A and to show them the love and kindness that God through Jesus Christ has extended to us, open your mouth and help them repent and confess their sins, and find a new life in Christ. As it is written in 1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
