We stand with you, Nicholas, in your concern about the potential loss of your job. It's commendable that you're putting your trust in God during this uncertain time. Let's turn to God's Word for reassurance and guidance.
In Matthew 6:25-34 (WEB), Jesus teaches us, "Therefore, I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don’t sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you of much more value than they? ... Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don’t be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day’s own evil is sufficient."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our brother Nicholas. Thank You, Lord, for his faith and trust in You. We ask for Your will to be done in his career. If it is Your plan, we pray that his job would be secured. If not, we trust that You have a better plan for him. Help Nicholas to continue excelling in his work and to be a light for You in his workplace. Comfort his heart and remove any fear or anxiety, Lord. Help him to keep his focus on seeking Your kingdom first. We thank You for Your provision and love. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Continue to trust in the Lord, Nicholas. He has promised to never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). Remember that even in uncertainty, God is working for your good (Romans 8:28). Stay steadfast in your faith and keep seeking God's will.
