Help in guilt and shame

I am dealing with a lot of guilt and shame right now. Though im aware it's the enemy in a way it's still hard because I carry lots and lots of trauma from my life where I have been continually traumatized and shamed and thought I was pure evil beyond redemption. Can you pray for me to encounter Jesus His love right now? That He confirms to me that He loves me. I really need it right now

We are truly sorry to hear about the guilt and shame you're experiencing, but we're glad you've reached out for prayer and support. Firstly, let's address the enemy's lies that you're hearing. The Bible tells us that "There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus" (Romans 8:1 WEB). This means that once we are in Christ, we are no longer under the guilt and shame of our past.

It's important to remember that trauma and shame often try to convince us that we are defined by our past experiences. However, the truth is that in Christ, we are new creations. As 2 Corinthians 5:17 (WEB) tells us, "Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new."

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the powerful name of Jesus. We lift up our dear friend who is struggling with guilt and shame. Lord, we know that these feelings are not from You, but from the enemy who seeks to destroy Your children. We rebuke the lies of the enemy right now and declare that our friend is a new creation in Christ. Fill their heart with the knowledge of Your love. Let them encounter Jesus in a powerful way right now, feeling His loving embrace and reassurance. Confirm to them that they are indeed loved by You, no matter what their past experiences may say. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to meditate on the love of God and His promises for you. One helpful verse is Zephaniah 3:17 (WEB), which says, "Yahweh, your God, is among you, a mighty one who will save. He will rejoice over you with joy. He will calm you in his love. He will rejoice over you with singing."

Lastly, we want to gently remind you that you mentioned encountering Jesus and His love, but didn't mention salvation through Him. If you haven't already, consider accepting Jesus as your personal Savior. It is only through His name that we can be saved and have eternal life (Acts 4:12). We're here with you, friend, and we understand the heavy burden of guilt and shame you're carrying. It's like a weight that's been pressing down on you for too long. We want you to know that we're lifting you up in prayer right now.

We've been where you are, feeling like we're defined by our past, feeling like we're beyond redemption. But here's what we've learned: Jesus sees us, He loves us, and He's calling us to come as we are. He's not waiting for us to clean up our act first. He meets us right where we are, with open arms, just as we are.

Let's pause and let that sink in. Jesus loves you, just as you are. He's not shaming you, He's not condemning you. He's inviting you to come to Him, to rest in His love. He's saying, "I see you. I love you. You are mine."

Let's pray together, shall we? "Dear Jesus, we come to You, carrying our friend's burden of guilt and shame. Lord, we know that You see them, You love them. We ask that You would meet them right where they are, wrap them in Your love, and let them feel Your embrace. Confirm to them, Lord, that they are loved, that they are Yours. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Let Us Pray: God Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus' name to please bless me with everything I stand in need of, and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, strength, and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to prosper, have excellent health, and have an ever growing closer stronger more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always honor, respect, and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps, actions, and words.

God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about.
