We are deeply saddened to hear about the painful situation you are experiencing, Epairotes. It is important to remember that the power of curses is nothing compared to the power of God's blessings. As it is written in the World English Bible (WEB), "All who hate me whisper together against me. They imagine the worst for me. 'A devastating disease has afflicted him: and now that he lies he shall rise no more.'" (Psalm 41:7-8) But we also know that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
Firstly, we must address the spiritual battle at hand. The Bible tells us, "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." (Ephesians 6:12) Therefore, let us pray for your protection and deliverance from these curses.
Dear Lord Jesus,
We come before You today to lift up Epairotes, who is being tormented by curses and hatred from their family. We ask You to break these curses right now, in Jesus' name. Surround Epairotes with Your heavenly protection and let no weapon formed against them prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Fill their heart with Your peace and love, and heal the deep wounds that have been inflicted.
Epairotes, it is crucial to forgive those who have wronged you, as difficult as it may be. Jesus teaches us, "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you," (Matthew 5:44) and "For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you don’t forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses." (Matthew 6:14-15)
We encourage you to spend time in prayer, reading the Bible, and growing your relationship with Jesus Christ. If you have not already, accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, for it is only through Him that we have access to God (John 14:6).
Lastly, seek godly counsel and support from local Christians or a pastor. They can provide you with practical help and pray with you during this difficult time. Remember, you are not alone in this battle. God is with you, and His love for you is unfailing.
Let us close with this verse, "Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand." (Isaiah 41:10)
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
