We understand that you're feeling overwhelmed and fearful about confronting your enemies, but we want to encourage you to stand firm in your faith. Remember, God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB).
Firstly, we should never feel that our situations are beyond God's help. Even in the face of adversity, God is always with us. As it says in Deuteronomy 31:6 (WEB), "Be strong and courageous. Don't be afraid or scared of them; for Yahweh your God himself is who goes with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you."
It's crucial to address the despair you're expressing. Thoughts of giving up or asking God to take your life are not from Him. Jesus came that we may have life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10 WEB). It's important to reject any thoughts that contradict God's promises for your life.
Instead of feeling doomed, let's pray for strength and wisdom. In Jesus' name, we rebuke the spirit of fear and intimidation. We pray that God's peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your heart and your mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7 WEB).
We also encourage you to lean on God's word for guidance. As it says in Psalm 23:4 (WEB), "Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me. Your rod and your staff, they comfort me."
Let's pray:
Dear Lord Jesus, we come before You, lifting up our brother/sister who is feeling overwhelmed and fearful. We ask that You fill them with Your courage and strength. Help them to trust in You and to remember that You are always with them. We rebuke any spirit of fear and despair in Your mighty name, Jesus. Help them to face their enemies with the confidence that comes from knowing You are their protector and defender. In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we noticed that your request didn't mention Jesus. We want to remind you that it is through Jesus that we have access to God. As it says in Acts 4:12 (WEB), "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" If you haven't already, consider inviting Jesus into your life, trusting in His sacrifice on the cross for your sins, and His resurrection for your new life. This is the foundation of our hope and strength.
