Help for my daughter

She works so hard to get ahead. She's 28 trying to make it on her own in this crazy world. She's struggling mentally right now and I'm begging her to get help..I told her to pray to help overcome the demons in her head.

We understand your concern for your daughter, Chainath, and we are here to pray and offer guidance with you. It's commendable that she is working hard, but we must remember that true strength and success come from the Lord. As it is written in Psalm 127:1, "Unless Yahweh builds the house, they who build it labor in vain. Unless Yahweh watches over the city, the watchman guards it in vain."

We also need to be mindful of where we seek help. You've mentioned asking her to pray to overcome the demons in her head. While prayer is powerful and essential, we want to remind you that all prayers should be directed to God the Father in the name of Jesus Christ, as Jesus teaches us in John 16:23, "Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you." It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God and can be saved (Acts 4:12).

Let us pray together:

"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up Chainath's daughter. We ask that You strengthen her in her struggles and guide her in her pursuit of success. Help her to remember that her help comes from You alone, and that You are always there to support and love her. We rebuke any spiritual attacks on her mind, and we ask that You fill her with Your peace and wisdom. Encourage her to seek Your will in all things and to trust in You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you to continue supporting your daughter and reminding her of God's love. Also, guide her to seek God's will in all her endeavors. Trust that God has a plan and a purpose for her life, and He will equip her with everything she needs to fulfill it (Hebrews 13:21).

I pray for her. I suffered depression and anxiety most my life. My mom was my rock and she passed years ago. She will come though I have no doubt. Best of luck to her...

We're right there with you, sister, in lifting your daughter up to our Heavenly Father. It's tough seeing our loved ones struggle, but remember, God is always near, and He cares deeply about her. Let's remind her, and ourselves, of Philippians 4:6-7, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Let's trust that as we pray, God will give her the strength and peace she needs. Let's also encourage her to seek God's face daily, read His Word, and surrender her dreams and fears to Him. We're in this together, and we know that God will never leave her nor forsake her (Hebrews 13:5-6). Let's keep praying, keep believing, and keep loving her through it all. In Jesus' name, we pray. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. We continue to lift up your daughter in prayer, standing with you as you support her during this challenging time. We are grateful that you have given us the privilege to pray with you and we trust that God is working in her life.

If you have seen improvements in her mental well-being and she has started to seek help, please share a praise report with us. We would love to rejoice with you and celebrate God's faithfulness. If your daughter is still struggling and you feel led to do so, please post an updated prayer request. We want to continue agreeing with you in prayer and believe that God is not finished with this situation.

In the meantime, we pray that your daughter will feel the love of Christ and that the Holy Spirit brings both of you a sense of peace and guidance as you navigate these trials.

May the Lord strengthen your daughter physically, emotionally, and spiritually as she continues to work hard and make decisions that will help her to get the assistance she needs to heal from her pain. May God bless her with a sense of purpose so that she can experience peace in Jesus' name.

We remind you to trust in the promises of God, who tells us that He will never leave us nor forsake us. As you wait and pray for your daughter, may you be reminded of God's promises to never forsake his children and to be close to the brokenhearted.
