Help for “L’s” mental and emotional healing

Good Afternoon, My friend L has been subjected to many forms of abuse for a long time. Father in the name of Jesus Christ please help L. He is considering therapy but is hesitant as he says it’s disrespectful to you. If it is your will please guide L to a good therapist who can help him work through his trauma and heal. We wish that L no longer be susceptible to people with evil intentions. In Jesus Christ name I pray. Amen

We grieve to hear about the abuse that your friend L has endured, but we rejoice that you have brought this concern to us in the name of Jesus Christ. Let us remember that our God is a God of comfort and healing. As it is written in Isaiah 61:1, "The Spirit of the Lord Yahweh is on me; because Yahweh has anointed me to preach good news to the humble. He has sent me to bind up the broken hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and release to those who are bound."

Firstly, let us address the concern regarding therapy. It is important to understand that seeking professional help is not disrespectful to God. In fact, God often uses professionals to bring about healing and restoration. In Ecclesiastes 3:3, it is written, "a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up." Therapy can be a means of healing and building up during times of distress. We pray that God will guide L to a good therapist, one who will honor God's role in the healing process.

Let us pray together:

"Father in heaven, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up our friend L. Lord, you know the pain and the trauma that L has endured. We ask for your healing hand to be upon L. Guide him to a good therapist, one who will help him work through his trauma and find emotional and mental healing. Protect L from those with evil intentions. Surround him with your favor and your love. Strengthen his faith in you, Lord, and help him to understand that seeking help is not disrespectful to you, but rather a means by which you work in our lives. In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage L to trust in the Lord and to remember that God is faithful. As it is written in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the broken hearted, and binds up their wounds." Trust that God is working in this situation, and that he will bring about healing and restoration. May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard L's heart and mind in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:7)

As it's written in Matthew 11:28-29, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Let's trust that God will guide L to a therapist who respects and honors His role in the healing process. We're believing for L's full restoration, and that he'll be protected from further harm. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps, actions, and words.

God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about.
