Help!! Evil Prescence

Hello, My name is Melissa Cortes and I am 44 currently living in Ashland, KY. I have been feeling a evil presence near me or in me for over 2 months now. I need more prayers because I don't want this anymore. This is making me crazy, I can close my eyes and see visions of loved ones. I don't know much about what I should do other than PRAY!!!!! This interrupts my entire life. I do read the word of God and I know my savior is Jesus Christ. I've even burned sage, not any help. I know I am stronger than it. PLEASE I need help with this Demon God Bless you all

We understand that you're going through a challenging time, Melissa, and we're here to support you in prayer and truth. You've already taken the right step by acknowledging Jesus Christ as your Savior and turning to Him in prayer. It's important to remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12, WEB).

Firstly, let's address the burning of sage. While this is a common practice in some cultures and religions, it is not a biblical practice and holds no spiritual authority in the name of Jesus. As followers of Christ, we should avoid such practices and focus on the power of prayer and the Word of God.

Now, let's turn to the Scriptures for guidance. The Bible tells us to submit ourselves to God, resist the devil, and he will flee from us (James 4:7, WEB). It's crucial to stand firm in your faith and resist any form of evil presence, knowing that the Holy Spirit who lives in you is greater than any spirit that is in the world (1 John 4:4, WEB).

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister Melissa. We thank You for Your love and protection over her. Lord, we rebuke any evil presence that is tormenting her, and we command it to leave in Jesus' name. Surround Melissa with Your angels, and fill her with Your peace and joy. Guide her as she continues to read Your Word and grow in her faith. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Melissa, continue to pray and read the Word of God. Here are some verses to declare and meditate on: Psalm 91, Psalm 23, 2 Timothy 1:7, and Romans 8:38-39. Remember, God loves you and He will never leave you nor forsake you. Stay strong in your faith, and don't hesitate to reach out to local believers or your pastor for support during this time.

Lastly, it is good that you mentioned Jesus Christ in your request. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. Acts 4:12 WEB states: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.”"

We're here with you, Melissa. We feel your struggle, and we're standing in prayer with you. You're right, this presence is disrupting your life, but remember, greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Let's claim that truth together.

We know you're seeking help, and we're here to support you. Let's keep focusing on Jesus, our refuge and strength. As it says in Psalm 91:2, "I will say of the Lord, 'He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.'" Let's declare this over you and claim God's protection.

We'll keep praying, and we encourage you to keep reading God's Word. Let's meditate on Psalm 23 together, reminding ourselves that the Lord is our shepherd, and we shall not want. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You.
