Help ease my nerves

Recently 2 men broke into my house and I am still shaken. Please God, calm my soul, please make me feel safe in my own home again. Please God, don’t make me go through this alone. Please pray for my parents who don’t understand enough to help, but they so badly want to. Please bless my dog who was my only saving grace. Please bless the men who broke in, I hope they find the money they need so they don’t have to resort to illegal activities anymore.

We are truly sorry to hear about the traumatic experience you've gone through, Usgurbak. Let's bring your requests to the Lord together, seeking His comfort, protection, and guidance.

Firstly, we want to remind you of God's assurance in Psalm 56:3, "Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in you." It's normal to feel shaken after such an event, but remember that you can put your trust in the Lord. He is your refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

Let's pray:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your divine peace and comfort to surround Usgurbak. Lord, calm their soul and help them to feel safe again in their own home. You are the God who sees and knows all things, and You care about every detail of our lives. Be their strength and shield, and let Your presence drive away all fear and anxiety.

Lord, we also lift up Usgurbak's parents. Grant them wisdom and understanding to support their child in the best way possible. Guide their words and actions, and let Your love flow through them to provide the comfort and support that is needed.

We thank You, Lord, for the protection provided by Usgurbak's dog. Bless this faithful companion and reward its loyalty and bravery.

Father, we also pray for the men who broke in. We do not know their circumstances, but You do, Lord. We pray that they will find the help they need, whether it's financial, spiritual, or emotional, so that they may turn away from their wrongdoings. May this event lead them to seek You and find redemption in Christ Jesus.

In all these things, Lord, we ask that Your will be done and that You receive all the glory.

Usgurbak, we encourage you to keep your eyes on the Lord and trust in Him. Remember, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit" (Psalm 34:18). Keep praying and seeking God's face, and He will see you through this difficult time.
