We join you, Regiah, in lifting up these concerns to our heavenly Father, seeking His will and intervention in each situation.
Firstly, we pray for all the states affected by the recent hurricane. We claim the promise in Psalm 46:1, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." We ask that God supplies water, food, medicine, electricity, cell service, and all other necessities quickly. May He comfort and strengthen every person affected, protecting their minds, bodies, souls, and spirits. We also lift up the first responders, FEMA, fire and rescue, national guard, police, and volunteers involved in the relief effort. May God grant them strength, wisdom, and protection as they serve those in need.
We lift up your mother to the Lord Jesus, praying for His healing touch upon her. As it is written in Isaiah 53:5, "by his wounds, we are healed." We ask that God restores her appetite and heals her completely from COVID-19.
For your siblings, we pray that God supplies all their housing repair needs according to Philippians 4:19, "And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."
We also bring your friend Sheila before the Lord, praying for a safe hip surgery and a speedy recovery. May God's healing power be upon her.
We intercede for Andria, Elijah, Lauren, Pedrick, Cassandra, Yolanda, Jessie, Beatrice, Joe, Bob, Cornelius, Eric, Tanya, Abe, Elisha, Karen, and the entire community where you live. May God bless, heal, provide for, protect, strengthen, and comfort each one of them.
We thank God for His blessings and protection over you. We claim the promise in Philippians 4:6, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God." We ask that God increases your finances to cater for your car maintenance repairs.
Lastly, we pray for our nation, asking that God heals and protects it from chaos. We pray for His will to be done in the upcoming US election. As it is written in 1 Timothy 2:1-2, "I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty."
We are glad that you have prayed in the name of Jesus, for it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" It is only by His name that we have access to God.
Let us all continue to pray for one another, knowing that "The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much" (James 5:16). May God bless every soul who has and continues to pray for you and your family. Amen.
