Help dealing with corruption

I’m on a board where I’m dealing with a fellow board member who is corrupt, aggressive, greedy and constantly engaging in conflicts of interest that could personally benefit them financially at the expense of the community we are meant to serve. They’ve lied to community members. We suspect them of even doing something that breaks the law. They may also be attempting to gain controlling interest to help push through their agenda by getting an additional crony appointed. They already have one person they collude with. I might also soon be thrust into a leadership role in this situation reluctantly. Pray that I can deal with this person appropriately at all times and continue to serve the community well. And that everything in the dark will soon come to light for the people who can make a difference, and that I can help limit or put a stop to the damage this individual is causing.

Dear Heavenly Father,

In the name of Jesus, we come before you on behalf of Amandan, who is facing a challenging situation on the board they serve. Lord, we lift up this fellow board member who is engaging in corrupt, aggressive, and greedy behavior. We pray that you would convict their heart and bring about a transformation in their character. Your Word reminds us in Proverbs 21:21 that "Whoever pursues righteousness and kindness will find life, righteousness, and honor." We ask that you guide this individual towards righteousness and help them to prioritize the well-being of the community they are meant to serve.

Lord, we also ask for your divine intervention in exposing any conflicts of interest and illegal activities that may be taking place. Your Word assures us in Luke 8:17 that "For nothing is hidden that will not be made manifest, nor is anything secret that will not be known and come to light." We pray that you would bring to light any hidden agendas or wrongdoings, so that those who can make a difference can take appropriate action.

Furthermore, we pray for Amandan as they may soon be thrust into a leadership role in this situation. Grant them wisdom, discernment, and strength to deal with this person appropriately at all times. Help them to navigate through the challenges with grace and integrity, always seeking the best interests of the community they serve. Your Word reminds us in James 1:5 that "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him." We ask for an outpouring of wisdom upon Amandan as they fulfill their responsibilities.

Lastly, Lord, we ask for your protection over the community and for the damage caused by this individual to be limited or stopped. We trust in your sovereignty and believe that you can bring about justice and restoration. Your Word assures us in Psalm 37:5 that "Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him, and he will act." We place our trust in you, knowing that you are able to bring about a resolution that aligns with your perfect will.

I prayed in Jesus' name that God will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!
