help deal with a ### who can't mentally deal with it anymore

he is ### years old, ill, and is trying to function as he used to as a professor who wrote papers which were pretty good. He can't keep things straight anymore but blames me when he can't figure out what he did wrong - yelling it's my fault. Please settle this problem which goes on every day and is ruining my peace of mind not to mention his.

Firstly, we want to assure you that God cares about your situation and desires to give you both peace and wisdom. It's important to remember that God's strength is made perfect in our weakness, and He is close to the brokenhearted. Let's turn to God's Word for guidance and pray together for this situation.

In moments like these, it's crucial to remember the fruits of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Galatians 5:22-23 WEB reminds us that these are the qualities we should strive for, even in trying times. It's also important to note that Ephesians 4:32 WEB tells us to "be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."

However, it's also important to understand that it's not healthy to continually take blame when it is not due. If there is abuse and the other person is a Christian, it is appropriate to follow the process in Matthew 18:15 WEB. "If your brother sins against you, go, show him his fault between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have gained back your brother."

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the name of Jesus, lifting up this situation that has become unbearable. We ask for Your divine intervention, Lord. Please grant wisdom and clarity to handle this situation with grace and love. Help us to show kindness and patience, even when false blame is being placed.

Father, we also pray for healing—both physically and mentally—for this person. Guide the doctors and provide the best treatment. Help them to accept their limitations and find peace in Your love.

Lord, we also ask for Your protection and peace of mind for the one who submitted this request. Help them to set boundaries and deal with this situation in a way that honors You.

And if there is abuse, Lord please guide and convict the abuser and guide the one being abused to seek the help and support they need.

Finally, Lord, we pray for a hedge of protection around this situation, and we rebuke any spirit of confusion, accusation, or strife. In Jesus' name, we pray for peace and resolution. Amen."

Lastly, we encourage you to cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you. (1 Peter 5:7 WEB)

We are not told that this person is a Christian Believer. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. Therefore, we encourage you to share the Gospel with this person.
